• Communications: messages you send us via email or in-app support

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• Usage data: features accessed, session duration, crash reports
• Log data: IP address, timestamps, app version

3.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect precise real-time GPS location unless you explicitly grant permission for a specific feature
• We do not collect contacts, call logs, or SMS content
• We do not use advertising SDKs or third-party tracking pixels

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our Apps and services
• Process account registration and authenticate users
• Send app-related notifications (check-ins, medication reminders) that you have opted into
• Respond to support requests and enquiries
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your personal or health data for advertising, profiling, employment screening, insurance purposes, or any secondary commercial purpose.

• Service providers: trusted third-party providers (e.g. Supabase for database hosting, Vercel for web hosting, Resend for transactional email) who process data solely on our behalf under data processing agreements

6. Data Retention

• Active account data: retained while your account is active
• Deleted account data: permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion request

• Anonymised analytics: may be retained indefinitely as they cannot identify you

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through either of the following methods:

• In-app: Settings → Account → Delete Account → Confirm
• By email: Send a request to hello@maiapps.net with subject "Delete My Account" and include your registered email address. We will process your deletion within 30 days and send a confirmation.

Upon deletion, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently erased. This process is irreversible.

9. Health Data (HavenLink)

HavenLink collects health-related information including medication schedules, wellness check-ins, and caregiver access logs. This data is used solely to provide HavenLink's core safety features, never used for advertising or profiling, never sold or shared with third parties outside of your designated trusted contacts, and stored with encryption at rest.

HavenLink is a wellness support tool and does not constitute medical advice or a medical device.

10. Entertainment Disclaimer (AlphaOracle)

AlphaOracle provides cosmic, astrological, and market timing content for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. It does not constitute financial, investment, or professional advice. All decisions made based on AlphaOracle content are solely the user's responsibility.

11. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest (AES-256), hashed and salted passwords, and row-level security on all database tables. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

12. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at hello@maiapps.net and we will promptly delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on our website and, where appropriate, sending an in-app or email notification.
